Sometimes it’s hard to be married to a photographer. Here is the reason why: he takes WAY better pictures than me. I mean, how can I compare? He offers to teach me how to take a good picture, but I told him just this morning I better stick with what I do know- it’s about all I can handle. But I am committed to taking pictures of Corey and our son. How awful would it be if Ezra looks back and says, “mom where are all the pictures of dad?” and I would have to say, “oh honey, I don’t take good pictures, so I just didn’t take any at all!”. No, that’s not okay. So while Corey uses his nice, fancy, and complicated camera, I am using our little digital- which I think would take great, clear pictures if I could just get the thing to stay still why I am snapping a photo! My pics all seem to come out blurry. Oh dear. There is this great thing called photo editing though. No, I don’t know how to use photoshop, but on my trusty old PC :P there is a program called microsoft office picture manager, which most people would scoff at, but it’s all I know. The wonderful thing about digital pictures is that even if they turn out bad, you can always modify it a little and make it look like you “meant to do it”. So here’s a few pictures that I meant to take like this. I hope you enjoy some pictures of an AWESOME daddy and and ADORABLE little boy!

img_3397.jpgIt’s amazing how fast the days are going by. This past Thursday we celebrated Ezra’s 2nd month “birthday”, we weighed him, measured him, and daddy gave him a bottle- because he has been SO looking forward to sharing in the feeding time. Ezra grew a couple inches (20 to 22 3/4″), gained a few pounds (8 to 12lbs. 5oz.) and was still hungry after he finished his bottle with daddy! But it was a good day.

Each parent I speak to reminds us again of how quickly the time flies, and though I know it’s true, I wish there were some method or trick to making time slow down- just a little…Between sleeping, eating, diapers, baths, and play time- which consists of lots of smiling and cooing (funny side note- many people- young men in particular- think that “cooing” is actually a “coo” sound. it’s not at all . It is just really cute noises that make you want to squeeze your baby and kiss them all over the face), - and a few crying spells, the days blur together. One minute he was a tiny little baby, the next day he is a blossoming baby with a great personality, curiousity for the world around him, love of music, and super cute to boot!img_3346.jpgimg_3348.jpg
