I was born and raised in the northwest. I grew up in wonderful home with parents who raised me to love and fear God from an early age. I was comfortable most of my life and first became uncomfortable with my faith life and beliefs when I started to learn more about an incarnational Jesus and God's Kingdom view of the world. All the compassion I felt while growing up, for people not like me, suddenly became personal...I've tried to immerse myself in community and relationships where I can learn, love and serve others for the greater good of God's Kingdom, and be a part amazing work that others are doing both globally and locally. I try not to be content with the status quo of christianity. I'd rather challenge an idea, and not come up with an answer or solution, than go along with an idea that doesn't seem to fit God's love for all people (and not just americans)...i love music, children, people watching, and a good cry...
